Samsung has unveiled a candy-bar phone with slide out QWERTY keypad and 3G support. Named Samsung Gravity 2 3G Mobile Phone, T-Mobile is releasing the phone in USA by August 2009. This is a message-friendly phone, and the easy to use keypad along with the large 2.4” screen helps to enhance the comfort while texting. Gravity2 is more or less a basic phone with a relatively crude 2MP camera, decent MP3 player, bluetooth, and microSD expandable memory.

Apart from the exceptional messaging capabilities, this handset features good web browser, RSS news reader and a set of personal information management tools. This handset comes with AOL interface, google mail, yahoo mail, etc. Ample spacing is given between the keys to prevent multi-keys being pressed at the same time. Another message-centric option in this handset is the “www./.com” key that helps to enter web addresses without any hassle. A smiley key is also housed in this device.

Unfortunately, Samsung has ruled out the Wi-Fi options in this handset. Samsung gravity 2 is also known as Samsung T469 Mobile Phone. This 114 x 52 bx 15mm device comes with a talk time of upto 5.5 hours and a standby time of 12 days. However, this is not a steak for Brits… Gravity2 mobile phone works on Band IV UMTS which is reported to be used only in US. Hence it is disappointing that one cannot use it across the Europe! Samsung has managed to squeeze in a user friendly keyboard without making the phone so bulky. If you ask me, it is not the best phone; but it will be a smart choice for the messaging freaks.

Yet another luxury phone from the veteran designer Giorgio Armani??? Yes.. It is rumoured so.. Nicked Samsung Armani 2 Mobile Phone, there is no idea how it looks. Will it resemble its candy bar sib? What about the sexy form factor of Motorola Aura? Generally luxury phones are “mere-calling and texting devices” made of gold lumps or any other expensive skin bejeweled with diamonds or expensive gems. Armani changed this trend with a perfect blend of technology and aesthetics. Samsung joined hands with Armani to produce many “hot selling” luxury phones like Samsung Emporio Armani Night Effect, Samsung Armani Mobile Phone, etc.

Here comes the leaked out specs of the latest Armani2 Mobile Phone. Dubbed Samsung Armani B7620 Mobile Phone, it is a Windows Mobile Phone that runs in Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. If released on the 4th quarter of this year, this handset may come with an updated 6.5version OS. Apart from the Windows OS, there are lots to look forward in this mobile phone. According to the reports, Samsung is planning to fix an 800MHz processor into this device. So this Armani phone will jolt into action with a single touch! Remember??? Samsung’s sky-rocketing Jet S8000 Mobile Phone houses the same processor.

A dedicated graphics chip is also included in this phone to make the phone more adept in the gaming and video session. Only scanty details are revealed about this handset; however we speculate the inclusion of certain usual features like A-GPS, bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a good media player that supports DivX and Xvid, FM RDS Radio, etc. in this smartphone. It is buzzed around that Samsung may include a host of Office software and multimedia editing options for its entrepreneur clients.

Speculators are not denying the chance for a slide out QWERTY keypad as well. Samsung is still close mouthed about their plans to release the Armani 2 Phone! Don’t you think that it will be too silly for Samsung, if it din’t happen twice???

LG has already wowed us with the LG GD 910 Watch phone recently. Although it is quite pricey, a watch with mobile phone function seems to be quite appealing. Here comes another watch phone from the rivals of LG Electronics. To be more detailed, let me introduce the thinnest watch phone in the world. Christened Samsung S9110 Watch Mobile Phone, this phone is to be launched in France in a short span of time.

This miniature phone sports features like bluetooth, MP3 ringtones, SMS/MMS, personal organiser, vibration alert, etc. E-mail (outlook Sync) and messaging options are also housed in this gizmo. With a 1.76 inch touchscreen display, this gadget features almost all major functionalities of a normal smartphone. The list of features include speaker phone, music player, voice recognition, etc.

Some of the sweet surprises come in small packages! Samsung S9110 Mobile Phone is the thinnest watch phone measuring about 11.98mm. The scratch resistant glass along with the stainless steel metal body and leather wrist belt makes it classy. Unlike the chunky rectangular watch phones, S9110 is aesthetically pleasing. Samsung has revealed that they are not having plans to release this watch phone in UK “in the foreseeable future”.

Samsung Omnia Pro B7320 Mobile Phone

Following the B7610 Louvre, Samsung has released another Omnia Pro sib. Named Samsung Omnia Pro 7320 3.5G Mobile Phone, this Windows smartphone is a “look-alike” of Blackberry device. With a comparatively small 2.4inch display which is not touch-sensitive, 7320 Pro is a normal Windows mobile phone, if you ask me. The camera glued into this handset is also a bland 3MP model compared to the impressive 5MP and 8MP cams of other Omnia siblings.

Although this phone comes with a built-in GPS, the smaller display may refrain it from being the complete replacement of a PND. Although this “Samberry” sports an HSDPA feature, it is reported that it supports the download speeds of upto 3.6Mbps only. This QWERTY candybar sports FM radio supporting RDS, and a brand-new Wiz Pro software too.

In Samsung Omnia Pro 7320 3MP Camera Mobile Phone, the users can directly access the hot contacts, photo gallery, music player and the “freq-used” apps from the home screen itself. Micro USB port on the right side of the phone helps to connect it to the PC and also tot he charger. The connectivity features of this quad band GSM device includes A2DP bluetooth stereo, HSDPA and WiFi. Its memory can be extended upto 16GB using the micro SDHC slot.

Most of the present day phones, especially the multimedia smartphones come with 3.5mm audio jack. Unfortunately it is not the case with this Omnia Pro. Although the camera includes auto-focus, the lack of built-in flash may arise challenges while portraying images at low lighting conditions. Expected to be available on the market by August 2009, this Samsung phone is not as impressive as the other Omnia siblings.

Samsung Omnia Pro B7610 Windows Mobile Phone is one among the latest member added to the Omnia lineage. This smartphone offers a slide out QWERTY keyboard and a 3.5inch display with 480 x 800 pixel screen resolution. WiFi, GPS, 5MP camera.. there goes the list of goodies included in this device. With a lightning speed processor of 800MHz processor, we can expect the Jet Like performance from this Omnia Pro too.

Expected to be released on October 2009, Samsung has promised the clients that the Windows 6.1 version put up presently in these handsets can be updated to Windows 6.5 OS once released.
